Our worship is focused on glorifying God through the simple elements prescribed in the Bible to include the singing of hymns, Psalms, and spiritual songs, prayer, the reading of Scripture, and expository preaching. We gather for corporate worship at 10:30am for a service that lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Our evening worship service is not a repeat of the morning service. Many of the same elements are present in the evening, but the service is slightly abbreviated. We gather for corporate worship at 5:00pm for a service that lasts approximately 75 minutes. On the first Sunday of every month, in lieu of an evening service, we have a fellowship meal that immediately follows our morning worship and then gather for an afternoon service to welcome new members, baptize new believers, and celebrate the Lord's Supper.
We gather every Wednesday evening for a corporate prayer meeting at 7:00pm. We begin with singing and a short devotional, and then we pray for missionaries, our community, our church, and any special needs that are brought up by the members of Emmanuel Baptist Church. On the first Wednesday of every month, in lieu of the prayer meeting at the church, we meet regionally in member homes for a smaller group setting.
Sunday school classes for adults, youth, and children of all ages are offered at 9:15am each Sunday morning before the morning worship service.
Child care is provided for each service for children up to 3 years of age. Children may be dropped off in the nursery 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. All of the women serving in our nursery have undergone a thorough background check.
