 Pastor
Martin graduated from Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International
University) in 1956. After spending five years in an itinerant preaching
ministry, he accepted the call to become pastor of a church in North Caldwell,
New Jersey in 1962. For 46 years he served as one of the pastors of that
church, now organized and known as Trinity Baptist Church of Montville,
New Jersey. In June, 2008, he relinquished his pastoral office and responsibilities
in that assembly and relocated to Michigan. Pastor Martin has ministered
widely as a conference speaker and as a preacher to preachers. For 20 years
he taught the course in pastoral theology at the Trinity Ministerial Academy.
Under the oversight of Trinity Church he is in the process of putting those
lectures into permanent DVD format. He also continues to take a leading
role in the annual Pastors Conference held each October at Trinity Baptist
Church.
Pastor Martin continues to
preach and teach the Word of God in various Church and conference settings,
along with seeking to commit to writing some of his sermons and lectures.
Pastor Martin, along with his wife Dorothy, are members of the Reformed
Baptist Church of Holland, Michigan. |
